Coral Princess first home port Brisbane Cruise Terminal

It follows P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Explorer which first docked at the terminal last week.

June-August winter season

Coral Princess will run 11 (Australian) winter cruises between June and August, including a seven-day round trip from Brisbane to Eden, where a AU$44 million quay extension was completed in August 2019, and Sydney and Newcastle.

A highlight of the program will see Coral Princess crossing the Coral Sea to visit the remote islands of conflict in Papua New Guinea.

Summer season from November

The Coral Princess will return to Brisbane in November to operate 11 summer cruises.

In total, the ship will make 48 calls at Queensland ports this year, pumping around A$60 million into the state’s economy in crew and passenger spending, ship supplies and port fees.

Commitment to Down Under

Stuart Allison, SVP Asia-Pacific, UK and Europe, said the home delivery “demonstrates Princess Cruises’ commitment to sailing the bottom line”.

He said it also reflected demand for cruise holidays from Queenslanders, as well as growing interest in domestic cruises.
