Elements Coastal Activity Park at Wyndham Harbor

This coastal park offers you a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. The Elements is located on a stretch of coastline that, until now, has remained largely undiscovered.

Inspired by nature, as well as the rich agricultural and maritime history of Werribee and its surroundings, the foundations of this park were made from materials with a connection to the community. This includes salvaged timber from the nearby marina and repurposed 120-year-old railway sleepers from the old Geelong rail. There are also comfortable, carefully constructed natural habitats for native bird and bat communities. The landscape was created with sustainability in mind. Native and native flora and grasses are used to promote biodiversity, and the mini-golf green requires no watering.

“When it came to The Elements, we wanted to make sure we respected this beautiful stretch of coast and were as environmentally conscious as possible with our practices, design and offering,” said Eamon Walmsley, Director from Wyndham Harbour. “We wanted to touch the earth lightly when it came to the natural landscape and used native plants, grasses and salvaged materials wherever possible to amplify the natural beauty of the area, rather than change it altogether.”
