How to Farm Fragments of Harmony in Lost Ark
- Run the tower – BUT NOT ON YOUR HAND
- Complete Rohendel dungeons again
Harmony Fragments are an essential part of the leveling process in lost ark. You will need tens of thousands of shards to get your gear to level 2, not to mention the 600 iLevel threshold for Yorn and the rest of the storyline.
This is also where you will face your first serious door to progression. Fragments are not easy to obtain. There are different ways to acquire them, but you need to max them all out if you want to progress quickly. Here’s a guide on where to get Harmony Shards and how you can farm them.
Here is a step-by-step checklist for you.
Updated March 27, 2022: We’ve updated this article to include a helpful video that tells you everything you need to know about farming Harmony Shards in Lost Ark.
Island quests are one of the easiest and most reliable ways to get a load of Shards of Harmony. There is an ideal route for progression which we cover in our Tier 1 Endgame guide here. After a while, you will have completed all level 1 islands, then move on to level 2 crafting mats – Lifestones. Yes, you guessed it, they are also hard to get. We’ll cover that separately, though.
Dungeons Grind Chaos
Although Chaos Dungeons only gives you the big daily rewards twice a day, you can keep running Chaos Dungeons multiple times to get Perception Shards and Disorder Crystals. Both of these can be used to exchange useful items with the Chaos Dungeons Exchange NPC. Perception Fragments can be exchanged for Harmony Fragments on a weekly basis, and you can use Disorder Crystals to exchange Legendary Accessories if you have a high enough Gear Score. This exchange is limited to the week.
That’s why it’s so important to join a guild, and it’s also important that you donate 6,000 silver per day. You also need to complete weekly guild tasks for extra bloodstones. Bloodstones can be exchanged at the NPC Bloodstone Exchange in North Vern and other major towns. You can get Leapstones and Harmony Fragments from this NPC, as long as your guild has researched shop level 2. These are limited weekly, so check back when the server resets on Thursday.
Pirate Coin Exchange
Jump into your ship, then into the docks area of any major port city. You will find traveling merchant ships – in particular, you are looking for the Tea and Libra Guild Vessel – where you can exchange pirate coins for crafting mats. These are also limited weekly.
Run the tower – BUT NOT ON YOUR HAND
The Tower is a fantastic source of Harmony Shards – we cover this in depth in our Tower Guide, definitely go check it out for more info on specific rewards – but only if you run it on first. your alt. This is because the first pass rewards things like burning chests and potions, while a secondary pass rewards you with Harmony Shard pouches. This is important because Harmony Shards are tied to the character you pick them up from.
Chaos Gate World Events
Check your alarms in the top left. Head to any Chaos Legion/Gate Events you see and head to the nearest event/event closest to your gear score. These reward Harmony Shards for completing as well as Treasure Maps (you may need to pay gold for this in the Loot Auction) that unlock dungeons that need to be completed with other players who also have the card. You can complete them every day.
Complete Rohendel dungeons again
Did you used to run the whole game and all of its dungeons on normal mode? Return to the Phantom Palace dungeon in Rohendel, for example, as a hard clear of this dungeon rewards you a bunch of harmony shards. Do not worry. It’s still extremely easy to complete, especially if you’re iLevel is well over 460 at this point, it just takes a bit of time to go through again. These rewards are only available once.
