The on-screen pen experience on the Cintiq Pro 27 has been dramatically improved with the introduction of the Pro Pen 3. The ability to customize the pen allows artists and designers to satisfy their exact work preferences that ultimately result in more comfort and natural touch digital input sessions. Additionally, the Pro Pen 3 has an improved tilt recognition and still features Wacom’s famous EMR (Electro-Magentic Resonance) technology with 8,192 pressure levels and battery-free operation. The pen never needs recharging, saving time and money. Three programmable sides switches are also located on the stylus to create hotkeys and modifiers with virtually any pressure sensitive application on the market. Multi-touch is also standard and is extremely valuable for non-artists. dominant hand when working in programs, especially 3D applications, that require pinch, zoom, and rotate a model or sculpt while working with the stylus. For those working in a virtual production environment, the ten-point selective key allows users to precisely manipulate on-screen cursors and other navigable features for a extremely efficient workflow. And since the pen display can work with Mac and PC, operating system gestures are still available to the user. Multitouch with Linux depends on application support. For artists and designers who prefer work in some applications without the benefit of multi-touch, there is a convenient on/off button.
